New after school art program at MCA Academy
The MCA Academy has a new after school art program. Mixed media will be taught to students in the 12 week series, which will focus on the minds and methods of the masters.Artists such as Georgia O'Keeffe, Vincent Van Gogh and Pablo Picasso are just a few of the artists that will be explored.
Instructors are certified in education, as well as experienced in teaching art and Visual Thinking Strategy (VTS). Tuition for the 12 week course is $400 and includes all supplies.
The course will start September 28 and run through December 14, meeting Wednesdays each week from 3:30 to 5:00 pm.
The MCA Academy is at the Mayfair Promenade at 2911 Grand Avenue, right on Florida Avenue.
