What's with the accidents at 17th & S. Bayshore?

Is the Cohen house jinxed? And was it jinxed before or after the Stanley Cohen murder? Maybe it's haunted, but whatever the case, there seems to be an accident quite often outside the house on 17th Avenue and South Bayshore Drive.

Today, this truck was in an accident with a car, which is behind the truck, not seen in the photo, and you can see the truck rammed up onto the coral rock wall. In the past, trees on that same corner have been crashed into. But it's quite a common thing at that intersection. And there is a traffic light there.

And that was my point last month about the traffic light being considered for Main Highway and Commodore Plaza. If anyone thinks it is going to calm traffic, it is not. South Florida drivers are maniacs. Accidents, speeders and dodging traffic is a way of life here unfortunately.
