Updated Vizcaya Café & Shop opens for business
It has been a long time coming, six years in fact, but with great excitement Vizcaya Museum & Gardens along with A Joy Wallace Production finally announce the wait is over! The Vizcaya Café & Shop has moved back into the Main House; refreshed, reopened and ready for business.
Award winning Miami caterer Joy Wallace, partnered with Vizcaya back in 2003 as Host and Operator of their Café & Shop. It was a little over a year of their union, that Hurricane Wilma flooded the house at ground level and pushed the Café & Shop into a tent and kitchen trailer for the next five years. Visitors are now able to once again appreciate the beauty of what was originally the Billiard and Fireplace Rooms of James Dearing’s home while they enjoy lunch and pick up a few souvenirs to take home.
The Deering Family Winery has a Vizcaya Blend in development in tribute to James Deering’s beautiful Summer home.
Refreshed and reinvented, Vizcaya inspired merchandise on display.
The New Café Menu hosts a bounty of options for guests to the Museum.
