Ballet Summer Kiddie Camp starts in June

Coconut Grove Ballet will be offering a variety of classes this summer. The two week Kiddie Camp and Dance intensive will begin on Monday, June 13.

The Kiddie Camp is a two-week program geared to 3 to 6 year olds. They take a ballet class every day which includes Tap, Hip Hop, Flamenco or Acrobatics. There's a different dance theme each day. The students create dance related accessories that they will wear during their show on the last day of the camp.

Students not only have a wonderful time dancing but they form new friendships and learn to work in a group.

CGB Dance Intensive is for the serious dancer that wants to improve their technique Students take a ballet class every day in addition to modern dance, improvisation and composition. Students prepare a showcase of their work for family and friends at the end of the two-week session

Evening classes are also available during the summer; the evening classes start Monday, June 20 and continue for 8 weeks. Classes start at 3 years of age all the way to adults.
