Miss Earth Miami to be crowned at Barnacle
Registration is open to single ladies in Dade County between the ages of 14 and 18 for the teen division, and 18 and 25 for the miss division. Winners advance to the state finals representing the city of Miami.
The crowning of the new queens will be the highlight of Barnacle's Earth Day Fest scheduled on the same day from 10 an to 5 pm. Other local Earth titleholders and Miss Earth Florida 2010 Kelly Saks (shown here) will be in attendance during the entire festival and will lead children activities for the day.
The pageant will be hosted by Miss Earth Coral Gables 2011 Laydi Hernandez and Miss Earth Kendall 2011 Yanet Brunet. The final questions will in charge of the reigning Miss Teen Earth Florida Brittney Ronda.
Miss Earth is one of the most important pageants in the world with over 80 countries competing in the world finals, including the United States.
