Govinda's is open for Indian and veggie dishes

Govinda's, the vegetarian restaurant at the Hare Krishna temple (3220 Virginia Street) is open again. They call it a dining club and it's open more than just on Sundays now, which had previously been the case.

Govinda's is open Tuesday through Thursday from 11 am to 4 pm and Friday and Saturday from 11 am to 8 pm. They offer dine in, take out or delivery and catering. The food is 95% vegan and mostly organic. The menu includes Tabbouleh with pita bread, Pakoras and Tamarind Chutney, salads, Thali (an Indian plate) and so much more.

Prices start at $4.00 for Samosas and Tamarind Chutney.
