COMING UP IN THE GRAPEVINE
Burn Notice was filming at the Ritz-Carlton at 27th Avenue and Tigertail today. We got some got photos of Sharon Gless, Coby Bell and of course Jeffrey Donovan. Come back next week for those.
The Dim Ssam a Gogo food truck was out in the Grove again today. One of the business owners came over to check it out. A nice friendly debate ensued with some of the lunch crowd. Are the trucks stealing business from the restaurants?
This Saturday night is the Coconut Grove Gallery Walk, which is the first Saturday of each month. All the galleries are ready with refreshments and lots of art. It's from 7 to 10 pm. We'll be there, hope you will be, too. Here's a list of participating galleries and don't forget the Coconut Grove Drum Circle will be out, too. Drums, hoola-hoops and more are the theme of that group.
And something we have been noticing -- there is a large group in the Grove who does not have a clue about Grove things including the Bed Race, Happy Hour nights like Mad Men Monday and even the Gallery Walk. We need to engage them. More on that next week.
