Art of Israel Guevara showing at Rodez Gallery
There's always a party at the Rodez Gallery and Saturday's opening reception for the "Hard Edge & Beyond" exhibit was no exception. The work of artist Israel Guevara is featured. Above are Daniil Shkolnik and Carmen Dager, who stopped in to enjoy the evening.

This is a conglomeration of adhesive tape, used over the years by Israel, which he uses to begin and finish all his work. He uses the tape to achieve the geometric elements. He has made this into its own sculpture.
The gallery is open daily, on the second floor of CocoWalk. The hours are Monday through Thursday - 11 am to 7 pm and Friday and Saturday - 11 am to 10 pm. Sundays are open by appointment only. Please call them at 786-467-7111 for more info.
