Planning already for The Great Grove Bedrace

A few of us met on Wednesday, regarding the Great Grove Bed Race. There will be a steering committee of about five people, we will have a larger group, too, for whomever would like to join.

The next meeting for everyone is Wednesday, March 30 at 5:30 pm at The Bookstore in the Grove (3399 Virginia Street).

Most of the Bed Races will be the same, but there are changes coming, too. Sign-ups will be all digital, meaning online. Early registration which may start in May is $100 per person and usually around July 1, we start the late sign-ups, those are $125 per person. Each team will be expected to bring in $250, too.

The charities will be changing this year, those will be announced soon.

We will have our Get Rolling Gatherings each month as we lead up to the race, probably on Fridays this year, for happy hour and we will go more digital with people texting in for prizes before and during the race. So get ready for a bigger, better Great Grove Bed Race coming Labor Day weekend (yes, that's in September, but there's a lot that goes into the planning).
