Peacock Auction starts today -- online!
The Peacock Tour Auction is going digital. There's been a change in plans, there will not be an actual live event as was planned, it is now going to be a sealed bid auction online. Sealed bids will be accepted via email at heather@princemediadevelopment.com or call 305-775-0113 to submit your bid.
So after all these months of having the Grove mascots all around the Grove, they are finally going to be sold off. Bidding starts today, Monday, March 14, 2011 at 9:00 am and concludes Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at 5:00 pm.

Here are the rules:
Cash and Checks are preferred. Credit Cards accepted.
The charities are required to charge a 6.5% Florida State Tax. Please consult your tax professional about charitable contributions. You will also receive a letter of contribution from the non-profit or charity organization assigned to each Peacock.
For your convenience a limited number of 300 pound concrete Peacock Tour bases are available at a $100.00 charge.
They also have movers available to arrange delivery and transportation of your peacock. The fee depends on mileage and location. Movers must be paid in cash.
Auction
1. Bidding – To place a bid simply e-mail in your bid you will be notified of the current bid and if you would like to out- bid it by the designated amount.
2. Purchase – The highest bidder recognized by 5:00 pm Wednesday, March 16, 2011 will be the buyer. The sponsor has the right to reject any bid, to advance the bidding at his discretion or to withdraw an item from bidding if it does not reach the minimum bid. Qualified phone ins may be accepted. The highest bidder will be presented with a confirmation of purchase, Wednesday March 16, 2011.
3. Settlement of Account – After the highest bid and announcement, subject to compliance of buyer, final payment and all other conditions of sale, buyer shall make payment settlement immediately or within 60 minutes of the auctioneer’s award of sale for the full purchase price. Please note all sales are final, with no exchanges, exceptions or refunds.
4. Peacock pick-up and delivery must commence with 72 hours!
