Peacock Garden Cafe coming this spring

The Peacock Garden Cafe is coming to 2889 McFarlane Road, next to the Sonesta Hotel, brought to you by the same folks who own Jaguar Ceviche Spoon Bar.

The new restaurant plans to open in a month or so. Their motto is, "In most restaurants, entrees come with a garden salad. In this restaurant, entrees come with a garden."

There still is a lot of work to do, as you can see from the photo, but it should be a magnificent place under the large shady trees. Flat breads, pastas, burgers and light fare are on the menu. Garden salads include Chinese salad, Nicoise, Greek, Blue Cheese and Cesar, paired with organic chicken or yellow fin tuna, Atlantic salmon, skirt steak or large shrimp.

Entrees include Roasted Baby Chicken ($18), Seared Salmon Teriyaki ($18), Fresh Fish Casserole ($20) and Grilled New York Steak ($30), just to name a few items.
