Danny Aruj has a very inspirational story to tell

Coconut Grove's Aruj Salon and Spa has been a neighborhood icon for 27 years, you can't miss it, it is probably on the prettiest corner of the Grove, that bold yellow building, on the corner of Fuller and Grand at 3065 Fuller Street.

The original founder, Danny Aruj, left, sold the business in 2002, a year after he was injured in a horrific motorcycle accident that left him with several broken bones and a collapsed lung. Danny's future seemed destined to be spent in a wheelchair, with near total paralysis and little hope for mobility from the medical establishment. Through a creative variety of modalities and sheer perseverance, three years later Danny was walking without even a cane. He now helps others with little hope (or those who merely yearn to improve their own wellness) by telling his incredible story on his extensive website that he created to inspire, link and educate:

After establishing another salon in Miami, Danny Aruj has come full circle and has come home to the legacy that he began all those years ago where he has a steady stream of clientele that are proud to call him their friend. Aruj Salon and Spa in the Grove is nationally recognized in publications such as Vogue, Allure, Elle, and Self Magazine.

Danny Aruj specializes in color, cuts, and style. Danny has built up a lifetime of knowledge and experience making him one of the most qualified, trustworthy, and sought after stylist in Miami. Known as the stylist of the stars and the trouble makers, Danny's regulars include movie stars, print and runway models, well known public figures, and neighborhood activists, making the Grove the perfect place for him to come home to. Danny Aruj is available Monday through Saturday by special appointment only. Phone: 305-448-5750.
