All the color is brightening up that dark corner
Eileen Seitz has been busy this week painting up the Information Booth on Main Highway. If you get a chance, stop by and say hello, she enjoys visitors. It's a great opportunity to watch a professional artist at work. That one area of the Grove is turning into quite an art hotspot. Next to the booth at the entrance to the Cloisters, is one of the painted Peacocks. And across the street at Lulu's is another peacock (painted by Eileen). We noticed the red guitar-shaped bike rack was moved from next to the info booth. It's in front of Maui Nix now, on Grand Avenue. It would have fit in quite well now with the painted booth, too bad they moved it.
The original painted booth, at the center of town is now decked out for Halloween. If you look closely, you can see cobwebs and a big black spider atop the roof. I think the booth just needs a pumpkin in the window now and they're all set for Halloween weekend.
