Street closures for the Great Grove Bed Race

Street closures for tomorrow's Great Grove Bed Race are: Commodore Plaza, part of Grand Avenue, part of Virginia Street and Fuller Street. Main Highway will be open to all traffic.

There is a children's Pajama Party event on Virginia Street from 11 am until 1 pm, so, near the Bookstore, the street will be closed from early morning until 1 to 2 pm. That is from about the Mayfair Hotel to Grand Avenue.

All of Commodore Plaza, Grand (from McDonald to the triangle in the center of town at McFarlane and Main Highway) and Fuller Street will be closed from early morning until about 7 pm. Commodore Plaza is the staging area for all the bed and of course Grand is where the beds are raced. Fuller Street will have a concert and stage set up presented by Barracuda Bar.

There is plenty of parking around the Grove, only a block away from the Center Grove. The BID has a great parking locator map here. It's easy to get in and out quick if you use the parking garages or surface lots.
