Regatta, sailing season starting up
The Coconut Grove Sailing Club (CGSC) is having the Junior Commodore Cup Regatta on Saturday, September 18. This is for younger members of the club.
New classes are forming at the CGSC for Adult Intermediate Flying Scott lessons starting on September 25.
Biscayne Bay Yacht Club's Lime Cup Ocean Races are this month, too. The Avocado Cup Race is Saturday, September 25 and the Mango Cup Race is September 26.
Sail the Grove promotes all sailing events and regattas in the Grove, and there are plenty throughout the racing season. For info on upcoming events including the Columbus Day Regatta and a complete concierge service for hotels, shopping and more, check the Sail the Grove site out here.
