Pajama Pub Crawl starts off Bed Race weekend
Just as the Pajama Pub Crawl started last night, the biggest buzz kill showed up. No, not the rain, the freakin' Miami Parking Authority, the menace to society.
But that didn't stop the crawlers from having fun. Naomi Evans, Nelsy Rivas and Richard Issa signed everyone in at The Grove Spot, the start off point. We got a peek at The Grove Spot bed yesterday, it's a breakfast sandwich with bacon and all! They have a $5.00 breakfast sandwich special all weekend and the bed is perfect to promote it.
Chris Frazier signed up early before the downpour.
Lots of people showed up in sleepwear -- P.J.'s and night gowns and of course these funky slippers.
For $25 a ticket, the crawlers got to drink in 9 locations throughout the Grove.
We caught up with this group in Barracuda. After the downpour, the crawlers were able to leave The Grove Spot and get out and about the village.
A lot of the Refresh Miami crowd crawled last night. Brian Breslin (right) and friends were also at Barracuda when we popped in.
All money raised from the crawl went to the Great Grove Bed Race charities -- the Alonzo Mourning Charities and the UM Sleep Center.
