Accommodating the tourists

When the red Gray Line tour buses start coming into town at 10 am each day, many of the Grove businesses are still closed, missing out on the tourists who are looking for places to shop. Businesses are being asked to open up by 10 am, rather than the usual 11 am, which most seem to favor for opening time. This subject came up at a recent BID marketing meeting.

We were just told today by Gray Line, that they may start coming earlier and staying later, so that may be something to note, to. The first bus may arrive at 9 am and the last bus may come in later in the evening. Just this morning a few of us were trying to get breakfast early and it was not easy to find an open restaurant. The ones that were open had long waits since they were the only game in town at the time.

And stocking up some souvenirs would be a great thing if possible for many places. Tourists are looking to spend money when here.
