Wine Tasting at La Bottega Enoteca Sociale

La Bottega (3540 Main Highway) is having a wine tasting on Thursday, July 8 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. Henry Barrow, wine expert will present the most popular white wine in the world -- Chardonnay. Pinot Noir, the Queen of Red Grapes will also be honored.

Wines include:

1.Sonoma Cutrer Russian River Ranches Chardonnay This is one of the most popular restaurant Chards. It has crisp citrus and melon flavors with wonderful structure. Serve with moonlight and your favorite person. $23.99
2. Ferrari Carano Chardonnay You are going to love this. It is elegant and big. It wants to be served with grilled snapper or with sandwiches on the deck of your boat. $29.99
3. Napa Cellars Pinot Noir A fruity, cherry flavored pinot with good structure. It likes to be served with mushrooms cooked in butter and served with crusty bread. $36.99
4.Cubanissimo Pinot Noir from Oregon Only the winemaker is of Cuban descent. The grapes are descended from France. This is a nice, moderately-priced Pinot. $22.99
5.Van Duzer Pinot Noir, Oregon One of our La Cava favorites. It is wonderful with cedar planked Salmon or with grilled Tuna. Our Wine Director Henry Barrow recommends you chill it slightly before serving. $36.99
6. Domaine Serene Yahmill Cuvee Pinot Noir Henry considers this one of the great 90+ point Oregon Pinots. It has luscious cherry-berry fruit with great structure. It is simply, an incredible Pinot. $46.99.
