Shake-A-Leg Miami preparing for 20th Anniversary
Board members and friends of Shake-A-Leg Miami were invited to a cocktail reception recently to celebrate the organization's upcoming 20 year anniversary.
Speakers including Jamie Sweeting, VP for Royal Caribbean Cruise Line and Adam Carlin, partner of Bermont Carlin Group spoke of how great South Florida's natural marine environment as an organic classroom with water-based activities is and how it help improve the life and health of those with physical, developmental and economic challenges.
Over 10,000 people a year are served by Shake-A-Leg, they work with over 100 schools and community organizations.
“It was wonderful seeing all of the friendly faces that make-up our organization and hearing remarkable accounts of how Shake-A-Leg Miami has greatly impacted the lives of children, adults and families alike in our community,” said Shake-A-Leg Miami Co-Founder and CEO Harry Horgan.
