Coconut Grove welcomes Grove Ink to the hood
A void was filled on Friday night, when Grove Ink, the new tattoo shop opened their doors at 7 pm sharp for a grand opening party. While they didn't ink anyone, within 15 minutes of opening, three people stopped in to get tattoos. Not a bad start.
Noel Garcia and Luis Sanchez, left, the guys behind the shop were delrious with happiness at their new venture. It's added a lot of life to the Florentine Plaza already. At right: Catrina Liott and Walker Jones. The Sandbar provided lots of nibblie things and Sangria was also served.

The little arcade area is alive again, Fuller Street, Florentine Plaza and Main Highway were abuzz with people enjoying a weekend night in Coconut Grove. Grove Ink will be inking today, who wants to be first?
