Changing the way we present advertisements

We're making a few changes regarding advertising in the Grapevine. First off, we have a new account executive, Barbara Ferenczi (shown here with daughter Jordyn), you may know her from around town, she is involved with a lot of projects and events in the Grove. Now Barbara will be handling the ads in the Grapevine.

We also have a new real estate page starting up, which we will feature soon.

One new feature is rotating ads, which you probably see on most websites. This is where multiple ads are in the same space and they "rotate," taking turns in the space. This way, the ads can all have the best placement and no one has to be at the bottom of the page and also the page and ads appear fresh. We know that many of you have not placed ads in the past because you didn't want to be at the bottom of the totum pole of ads. Now you don't have to be.

The best thing is that our circulation is up, yes, our heart rate, but also the readership -- with the partnership with the Miami Herald, we have thousands of more readers per day, so for those advertisers who feel that they will not get the same coverage by sharing the rotating space, it is actually the same or better. Rather than raise advertising rates to reflect the new readership, it is all evened out with rotating ads. Trust us, it will work and it does work on millions of websites daily.

Anyway, we hope to have more ads and hopefully you will reach out to us to advertise before we come to you. You may reach Barbara at barbara@coconutgrovegrapevine.com or you can go directly to our ad page to get rates and info and order there: www.coconutgrovegrapevine.com/ads.htm
