Chamber members enjoy going Mad on Monday

Thanks to the Grove Chamber, the first Mad Men Monday of the season was a huge success. The Lobby Bar at the Mayfair Hotel was packed with happy people. They plan to add a pizza oven and turn the bar into some sort of Trattoria but we are assured that the dark slinky atmosphere will remain. It is a great space.

Richard Issa, Michelle Alvarez, Willie Vega, David Guzikowski; the staff, Jesse Royer, Rosy Quintero and Misael Castro made us all feel welcome at the Mayfair Lobby Bar.


Miriam Trujillo, Carmen Principe, Judy Campo enjoyed the atmosphere, the drinks and I even spied them enjoying the $21.00 prix fixe three course dinner at the great table in the center of the bar.

Mad Men Mondays is each Monday from 5:30 to 7:30 at the Mayfair Lobby Bar. Drinks are $3.50, dinner is $21.00, it's a 1960s scene with the music and cocktails from that era. The tv show Mad Men is the theme. As Michelle Niemeyer puts it, "Where the men are mad and the women are the just plain crazy." It really is a lot of fun. See you next Monday!
