Celebrate Uncle Sam with Sam Adams!

Samuel Adams, America's World Class Beer, is the official beer sponsor this year of the Grove's Fourth of July Celebration in Peacock Park! Perfect patriotic beer for a patriotic day.

There will be three beers to choose from: their standard lager, their light beer and a "Seasonal beer," either Summer Ale or their Octoberfest beer.

And of course, adding a little Noche Buena to the festivities is the Lechon Cook-off in the park where pigs are cooked in large boxes! After the contest between the Grove Chamber and the Grove Rotary Club, the boxes will be auctioned off.

There will be a pig and a wild boar and they will be split between the two teams so each team will have two items to work on with their special herbs and spices. Sandwiches will be sold after the contest with the meat coming from the pig and boar.
