Lunch is included."This meditative technique trains the mind to focus on and synchronize with the breath and body sensations, achieve a deeper awareness of self and the present moment, of one's surroundings, and still the wandering mind. Gradually, one is able to release tensions, unpleasant thoughts and sensations, relieve stress, and calm and relax the mind in order to be able to appreciate every moment of life as it comes. Zen Village teaches meditation as a progressive practice. Students will move into deeper practice of Shamatha meditation, when appropriate."
