Has anyone seen Smokey?

While we don't usually post missing pets stories, this seems interesting, since it appears that someone may be poisoning pets in the North Grove.

This came from a reader:

"My daughter's beloved cat - a 6-year old Russian Blue named Smokey has been missing for well over a week. Everyone who knows Smokey on our block on Lincoln Avenue is worried about him. Worse, I suspect that someone nearby may have poisoned him. (Our German Pincer is also in the animal hospital, suffering from symptoms that are consistent with poisoning -- we suspect that the person who did this could have done something to Smokey, too.)"

If anyone has any news, please email us and we'll pass your your email on to the pet's owner.
