Bike patrols seen around Grove more frequently

Ran into Officers Edward Lugo (left) and Sgt. Javier Ortiz the other day on their bicycles, patrolling the Grove.

You may have noticed more of a police presence on bike, horseback and car.

Also, the BID has hired a slew of new security guards who you may have seen around town, usually in pairs, very friendly, always with a smile and saying, "Hello" to everyone.
