Yoga for Haiti at Grove Isle Hotel

yoga
Isle to Isle Yoga For Haiti is taking place Friday, February 12 at the Grove Isle Hotel.

The class will be held at sunset among the sea and ski under a beautiful covered wooden deck, shown here, serenaded by the music of Jai.

Christy Nones, Rosella Rossi, Rina Jakubowicz, Natalie Morales and Miriam Mengotti will be your guides and teachers.

All proceeds will go to EcoWorks International, a non-governmental, Miami-based organization which has been working in Haiti to help break the cycle of poverty through the building of self-sustainable communities. The mission now is reconstruction after the earthquake, including feeding programs, setting up tent camps and helping with the orphans, also working on urban planning and construction of permanent housing and schools.

The cost for the yoga class is $25.00. The class is from 6 to 8:15 pm. Valet parking is free. Space is limited, so please RSVP Loree Schrager at the Dharma Studio, who is also involved in this charitable effort:
