Special children's circus art opening
Everyone Loves the Circus! Tomorrow, Feb. 21, is a special children's art opening from 2 - 4 pm at the Windisch-Hunt Gallery (2911 Grand Avenue). Performance start at 3 pm sharp.
Popcorn will be served.
"This is the largest selection of circus images in one place," said ringmaster Elias Joseph. That's Debra Schurman enjoying the secret delights of "Under the Big Top" even though she is an adult or so she says.
There is an open call for all artists in recognition of Women's History Month called "Homage." The subject is women, this is for women artists, but male artitst who depcit the feminine in their work are also welcome.
Submission fee is $35.00 for up to 2 pieces, they must be 30" x 30" or larger. Photography must be 16" x 20" or larger. Submission deadline is Tuesday, March 2 at 7 pm. The opening reception is Saturday, March 6 from 7 to 9 pm. Stop by the gallery or email awindisch@mac.com for more info.
