It's the place where everybody knows your name
We intended to stay an hour, we ended up staying four! The Grove Spot opened last night at 3324 Virginia Street and if there is one place in the Grove you will want to hang out, it's here.
It should be called Cheers because it's a place where everybody knows your name. Gabriel Prieto (left) and Olav Smit (right, owner) will make you feel like family.
Lots of locals showed up to christen the new place last night, from left: Lisset Medero, Carmen Terneus and Michelle Niemeyer.
The first drink was on the house and they kept flowing after that. Bartenders from left are: Carlos Ruiz, Eddie Nagy, Rafael Barrientos and Ethan Royal.
My friends, from left: Jeremy Levine, Desiree Hart and Armando Paz.
Laura Lee, Sandy Lucas and Joe Wise enjoyed the night, too.
The Grove Spot is open today as of 8 am, for breakfast, lunch and dinner, they are open Monday through Saturday from 8 am to midnight and Sunday from 11 am to midnight. It's a nice comfortable place, you won't want to leave once you visit.

Looks like opening night was a great party! Sorry I missed it.
