The show must go on

taste1
Neither snow nor rain nor cold nor gloom of night stays these foodies from their appointed task. The Great Taste of the Grove will proceed. The hearty souls are out there now, setting up booths, enjoying cocoa and just getting ready for a wild blustery day.

If you have ski gear...wear it. I walked the dog in my snowboard gear this morning. At first I felt rather lame, but then I realized the warmth combined with wind resistant and waterproof material made it the perfect attire.

You know what would REALLY pack the place today?

A LOUD Rock and Roll Band or blues band, with blasting sounds all the way to Papa Sarnoff's cozy cottage. Seriously. I bet that with enough good noise on this rainy morning, people would stroll outside. I sure will. CI

I was just there, and a band was setting up, 3 or 4 vendors with hot food, blood bank bus for those who can donate blood -- it will be there tomorrow also. They're all doing the best that can be done. BTW I had the pan seared scallops over pasta from Crazy Pianos, delicious, and also the Penne ala Vodka from Al Fresco, also delicious.
