Red Flag Race running through Grove tonight
Sail the Grove is holding a "Red Flag Race" tonight, January 29, for the Miami OCR Regatta crews who are in town. So if you see a bunch of folks running around, Amazing Race-style, that's what that is.
The staring line is at CocoWalk and the finish line is at Sandbar Grill. The race starts at 5:30 and goes to 7:30, after which there is a Finish Party from 7:30 to 8:30 pm.
Participants will be given a map with participating merchants. They will then "sail" through the Grove and at each location there will be drink and food specials or a "Protest" which will be a task they will have to complete to continue. Raffle tickets and other prizes are involved, all to be explained at the staring line.
Participating bars include Barracuda, Boardwalk, Greenstreet, Mr. Moe's and Sanbar.
