All-Grove Crime Watch meets Wednesday

All-Grove Crime Watch meets this Wednesday, January 13 at 7 pm at St. Stephens (2750 McFarlane Road).

Meet fellow Grove residents, Miami Police Commander Jorge Colina, Miami Police NROs Leo Carrillo and Joe Guell, Assistant State Attorney Kionne McGhee, Miami Police Community Outreach Coordinator Aileen Rodriguez and others to discuss recent crime activity and how to best to prevent future crime.

Parking is free in the surface lot next to the church. Tell the parking attendant you are there for the Crime Watch meeting.

In response to the recent rapes in Coconut Grove, free self-defense classes for women are currently being organized by Commander Jorge Colina, Grove District, City of Miami Police.

The classes will be held at Aikdo Gym near Bird and 27th Ave.
