Movie under the stars catching on
While much of the Northeast shivered in 20 degree temps and lots of snow, we enjoyed a balmy 68 degree night.
You never know what will happen, it's such a Grove-thing. Last week the screen started deflating right during the movie, last night the Hare Krishnas came chanting through, right near the end of the movie.
The outdoor movies will not be shown next week but they may come back soon on a weekly basis.
Speaking of movies, apparently Muvico is back on at CocoWalk. The facility has been cleaned out and they have a crew standing by to start construction as soon as another permit or two comes in. You know how the City works, like molasses, hopefully they'll move on the permits and we can have a movie theater back in the Grove by spring or summer.

Is there a place where we can find out when and what movies will be playing?? I always miss the movies and would love to spend a night watching a movie outdoors.
Yes, right here, this is the third mention of this particular movie this week.
Is it going to be Muvico or Paragon at Cocowalk? I keep on reading different things.
Well, one school of thought says that David, Mark and a few chosen others are killing the Grove, so, all permits will be stopped at the commission level, right? Or the other school of thought says David, Mark and a few chosen are not the chosen few and the theater will again provide a venue of people who will spend money throughout the Grove after or before they view the movie(s). Are "they" coming or are "they" not coming. A movie theater is not coming to the Grove anytime soon? Not in this economic environment. Better come up with some other plan/thought!
