"GO SUPPORT THE LOCAL BUSINESSES."

"GO SUPPORT THE LOCAL BUSINESSES."

"GO SUPPORT THE LOCAL BUSINESSES."

It's a nice mantra, but one that means little to myself and the many others who have lost jobs or otherwise fallen on hard times in the last year. I care about local businesses, but the only restaurant I can afford to support right now is Subway with its $2.50 Sub of the Day.

Grape the hyperlink to Ivy doesn't work.

I think it would be great to offer this to Code 33.

I have the card but no one promotes that they accept it and when we ask do you take the card, they shake their heads no.

Obviously Ivy is hurting already. I predicted 3-6 months when they first opened. I hope I am not correct but I know I will be.

You have to look for the Code 33 decal in the windows of merchants and restaurants.

By offering this deal to everyone who can show a driver's license or a business card with a 33133 zip code, aren't they offering it to everyone who could sign up for club 33, without the hassle of needing a special card? What's wrong with that? It's a great deal! Thank you, Ivy!

Just returned from a wonderful dinner at Ivy. Yes they gave me 50% off on my food. Sorry not on wine, beer or soda. I ordered a great Ivy hamburger. $5 after discount, great roll and best fries. My wife ordered fish and chips also super. Ice tea $4 no discount. Ask for Bruce the Mgr. Great deal, I will return again. Just ask for the discount, they will give it to us with a smile

Wow - I'd planned on going back *sometime* but that deal will make sometime a little sooner!

Visited the Ivy with out of town family last week and we were all truly impressed with the quality of service and pleasantly surprised with the masterful food preparation. The Chef definitely knows what she's doing!

Fish & Chips were amazing served over a mint-pea puree sort of thing (don't ask - it just 'worked').

My wife loved the beautiful hearty tomato salad.

My brother in law had a steak that was certainly larger than advertised, along with perfectly seasoned carrots.

Did I mention the great service? What a super waitstaff!

We'd asked about code 33 - no dice of course...they alluded to some sort of 'local regulars' card - so then we said how maybe we could show we were "local" by way of our drivers' license....
I might have been more of a regular if they had more of a beer selection. Surprised there was only a couple domestic bottles available.

No discount that night but still the price was quite reasonable given the quality of our meal. As I said, we planned to go back anyway - code 33 or not!

I was skeptical at first about British cuisine, and of a non-local owned chain moving in. Now I'll recommend The Ivy to anyone in town or visiting!

A 50% discount was a nice incentive to get us in there for lunch, and it was delicious!
Thanks for the heads up Grape.

Went there today with my wife for lunch. The food was great, the staff was nice, and the manager was happy to grant the 50% off. I recommend The Ivy!

I applaud the offer and take advantage of it whenever I can. Happily, I live on Commodore Plaza so not only do I get to look at that beautiful building everyday, I feel lucky to be able to support the establishment.

I just hope more Groveite's get on board so we don't lose The Ivy, as we have so many other great businesses.

Cheers!
