Snow Days are coming to the Grove

Plans are to have three Snow Days in the Grove this December. On Saturday, December 5, the Grove will turn on the Christmas season with a tree and storefront lighting, the mini Christmas Village will come out and Virginia Street will be covered with eight tons of snow for half a block or so by CocoWalk and The Bookstore.

Then the next week, Snow Days moves to Sunday, December 13 and Fuller Street, picture Fuller with snow from one end to the other. Barracuda are you ready?

On Sunday, December 20, the snow will move the Promenade at Mayfair.

Snowflake banners (blue and white) will be hung on the new taller light poles and the smaller ones will have a garland design, which will be made by volunteers at a party at the Windisch-Hunt Gallery on Tuesday, November 10 at 6 pm.

November 21 is the planned date of installation of the banners and garland around the Village.

This is an awesome idea. Love it!!

Finally something for those on fuller street. Some great businesses on there including Barracuda, Brenda's boutique, Revolutions etc. don't get much a benefit from most grove functions that either focus at cocowalk, mayfair or commodore. Good for them.

Also, can I park my car there and get is snowed in to remind me why I moved down here so long ago in the first place?
