Coconut Grove Green Market is back today
The Coconut Grove Green Market will be back today (and every Wednesday) from 3 to 6 pm at the atrium at Mayfair (by the bull sculpture).
Frantz will be serving prepared turkey and pork dishes as well as many type of pastries. There is all sorts of fresh fruits and veggies and lots of plants, too. You can eat right there or take it all home to enjoy.

wouldn't it make more sense to have this during the lunch hour or to continue past 6pm?
Why on Wednesdays?
Went to it around 4:30pm, and was let down. There was produce there that's the same as the grocery store - the organic produce was packaged in plastic and came from California. One type of tomatoes came from Ontario. Would have liked to see more locally grown products. I hope it picks up as the weeks go on. We bought pasta made in Colorado, Tupelo honey and left for Fresh Market to buy Romaine.
