Nicky and Niki take over the night
The first Mayfair Happy Hour happened last night. The Promenade at Mayfair was full of entertainment. There was complimentary wine and nibblie things at the Antique Market, Out of Africa and the GroveHouse Artists Gallery.
Nicky (left) read cards and told people's futures and Niki (right), with John, entertained everyone with show tunes, under a tent, right outside the Antique Market.
The crowds going to the Improv loved the music, food and quirky people who stopped by to enjoy the new Friday night Happy Hour. There was a lot of energy and fun, someone commented to me that if you looked at people, you would see a smile on everyone's faces as they walked around.
The show goes on again next Friday, starting at about 7 pm. Tonight the Art Stroll takes over the same space and that's a lot of fun, too, with music, art, free food and drink!

I am glad to see this finally happened. We talked about it in February when the Antique Market Place got it's start, but it was postponed because it conflicted with the street closings for the Art Fest, so it is good to know it is finally off the ground and a regular addition to the Great Grove Outdoors menu. I hope that N&J are compensated. It is not every day that one has the luxury of having a regular line up featuring a pianist, such as Niki who played Carnegie hall at age 11, and John, who is a great tenor.
Niki and John were amazing. Where can you listen to music and get all the best antique deals. Sterling Silver, vintage clothing, jewelry and so much more. Go and check it out.
Lili-
Thanks to your suggestion and inspiration when you were Prez of the Chamber we got the Antique Market... and what started as a once a month event is now happening every week. I think people should give you a "Thank You" as an unsung promoter of the Grove!
