Lots of goodies coming to the Green Market

bull
Picture this atrium area full of fruits, veggies and lots of food. It will be, come Wednesday. There's a new Green Market coming to the Grove. It will start off slow and build with time.

Starting Wednesday, October 28, from 3 to 6 pm, Claire and Pola, the two ladies from the Market Company, who have markets at Jackson Memorial Hospital and Lincoln Road and and many other places, will be filling in the space at the Mayfair Atrium (surrounding the bull) with lots of goodies.

Along with fresh fruits and veggies, there will be lots of prepared food including Colombian, Turkish/Mediterranean/Lebanese, Peruvian, Mexican and Cuban.

There will be plants and flowers and as time goes on, more items will be added. The market will be at the atrium each Wednesday to start and evolve from that.

This is wonderful we make a lot of trips to the hospital and I try always to book a Thursday appt. as they have the market then. The only thing I do not like and have heard others say, the music they talk more than they play and then in a closed area it is always much to loud.
Perhaps you can encourage some buskers to play for tips Artists and street performers are being charged for the pleasure of entertaining.
Maybe invite the Cafe Tu Tu Tango Artists back.

They have some and will have lots of organic produce as the South Florida growing season kicks in; it'll be by the end of November, beginning of December.
