Grove Arts Fest is Number One again
“We take pride in every aspect of our festival,” said Monty Trainer, president of the Coconut Grove Arts Festival. “To receive international recognition in not only our overall festival presentation efforts, but also our visitor relations, is what makes our festival stand out among others.”

Those pioneer artists like Jack Amoroso, Leonard King, Barbara Neijna, Gene Massin, Eddie Whey, Bill Clark, and my dad started a great tradition. What a time that was.
My suggestion for the patio area surrounding the glass house is that it be divided up into permanant artists booths. The artists could purchase a 30 day permit and then a new artist would fill the spot for the next 30 days, and so on.
There would be 10 or 20 artists there all the time. Tourists and locals would enjoy it.
I love the Coconut Grove Art Festival, but I still think the Ann Arbor Art Fair is better. It is larger, shares most if not all of the artists, and is free.
