En Plein Air art competition starts today
This weekend, you will see artists painting all over the streets of Coconut Grove. They will be painting, as part of the 8th annual En Plein Air art competition.
Over 30 artists are participating in the "paint out." Seven will be on the grounds of Vizcaya.
The artists welcome comments and onlookers, so feel free to immerse yourself in the experience.
Yesterday, art classes were held at The Barnacle. Artist Erik Speyer conducted the outdoor class. All money raised was donated to The Barnacle Society.
Above are Jaqueline Gopie, Talia Rodriquez, AnnaMaria Windisch-Hunt with instructor Erik Speyer and Ageline Martinez.
