Clear, cool skies for Community Bay Day
Shake-A-Leg had one of their Community Bay Days on Sunday. It was a perfect day for the event, which included sailing, boat rides, kayaking, island exploration, art, music, food and fun.
Bill and Jenny (below left) made some super burgers, sausages and had chocolate chip cookies, chips and drinks. At right are Antoine, Janey and Christian. I went over with my friend Dave Weiss, who volunteers at Shake-A-Leg and he showed me a great time, everyone was warm and welcoming.

Skake-a-Leg is a great organization.
I would have loved to be there.
Anyone can stop by and rent a Kayak just about anytime for a few bucks and just get out there to explore. Awesome people.
My friend and I went on a sail boat and on a catamaran that afternoon....and all for free! We got soaked during the sail, but had a great time. SALM is an amazing organization and the Grove is lucky to have them. Thanks to all of the volunteers!
