Screwed up priorities
Maybe they can borrow some from the Marlins and the billion dollar stadium that the city seemed to have money for.
Just a thought.

Or maybe the DDA can give up their lunches and cocktail hours for the bricks.
If they are out of bricks why are they tearing up the sidewalks?
Can't they go to Home Depot?
And then when someone trips on the broken bricks and sues the City, the claim will just go straight to the insurance company and the premiums will go up. Penny wise and pound foolish?
We use to throw bananas at City Hall. Would it be too much to throw bricks? They could use them for the sidewalks.
Anon 6:06 Bricks? If local government continues on its path, it is only a matter of time.
have to agree here. I saw sidewalks being fixed with bricks on Mary St. by Florida Ave. and yes I had a friend fall and trip on Main Hwy. We were told she was not the first.
gotta be joking. WHO is responsible?
Specifically? Who? Think about that.
OK, what else is new?
What's Sarnoff's phone number?
Best of luck with YOUR representatives, at City Hall.
...again best of luck with YOUR representatives .. District Two Office NEVER returns calls! Harry for Commissioner!
District 2 office has always been responsive as far as I am concerned.
Oh lord! Here we go again!!! The coconut grove natives are getting restless. What does the DDA have to do with repairing the side walks of coconut grove? And what was that comment about the DDA giving up their lunches and cocktails? You people are on a witch hunt. God help us. And, God is not Harry by the way.
Having had a way too up close and personal experience with one of those blasted bricks, I would like to stay that the next person may not be as quiet about it and may sue their socks off.
