Miami Heart Gallery back again
This is a traveling, museum-quality exhibit featuring portraits of children in Miami-Dade’s foster care system.
The Windisch-Hunt Gallery (2911 Grand Avenue), where the exhibit is being held for the second year, had the most adoptions of all the participating galleries last year as a result of the exhibit -- eight!
On Saturday night, there was a reception with food and wine and many people came out to see the photography and learn about the children.
The show runs through September 7, 2009. Hours are 6 to 10 pm, Tuesday through Friday and noon to 9 on Saturday and Sunday.
