New breakfast special at Georges's in the Grove

Georges Farge, shown here, is introducing a new Breakfast Special at George's in the Grove (3144 Commodore Plaza).
For $10, you'll get an omelet or pancakes, with coffee, orange juice, toast and if you can tell the waiter the last French Tour de France winner, a free mimosa!

Their breakfast starts late -- around 10 am, so it may be more of a brunch for many.

I dont think George's is feeling any pressure from Havana Grove. I was there on the 4th for brunch and it was pretty packed. Its not an inexpensive eatery either. Just goes to show that when you treat people right and make their dining experience enjoyable, they will come back regardless of whether it costs a few extra bucks.

Oh, I'm not knocking it! The more George the better. I hope this $10 breakfast idea works for them!

I've been living out of town and am back for the summer. People have asked what the difference have been, and I use this as an example: In Miami, it is SO expensive that $10 is a "deal" for breakfast.

(I know, I know: it's great quality and a deal HERE, but it still sounds funny to me when that would be considered an obscene price in other parts of the country!)

Hey Ashely, $10 is a deal in the grove were most of the things are made fresh. However there are many places if not most places in Miami wheere you can get a meal for under $4
