Let's put on a fashion show!

I was thinking about the fashion show at the gallery the other night and still can't get over how so many people came out on a rainy night and found parking and enjoyed the event. It just proves that we need to learn to market the Grove in the correct manner, because the guys that ran the fashion show know how to do that and they got the crowds out.

It would be interesting to see if we could do this every quarter, you know, have a village fashion show event. People seem to like it. I am not into fashion myself, but the electricity in the air was infectious. So many of us knew each other, so that was the real fun part. For the fashionistas, their fun part is seeing the fashion and experiencing the whole event.

For instance, the gallery can hold the event, Allure Salon can maybe do hair and make up, the fashions can come from any number of clothing stores in the Grove, the food and drink can come from any number of restaurants in the Grove. Everyone would get to show off their best for the appreciative crowd. Ad cards or flyers could be given out after the event, inviting people back to the hair salon or restaurant or gallery, etc.
