Great night of poker, music and friends
Despite the on and off rain, a nice crowd showed up for the Maverick Poker Charity Tournament at Cabana One last night, hosted by Camille DePhillips and Ben Arndt. Lou Stadler of the Miami Poker Society had tables set up in the actual cabanas.
Even if you didn't play poker, there was a slilent auction, jazz band, drinks, food and the incredible views. This photo was taken at sunset.
People had a good time. The cabanas were perfect for the poker tables.
Waitresses brought drinks to the tables, so the players could keep on going. It was all for a great cause -- the Coconut Grove Elementary School.
Beside the jazz band, a cigar maker rolled cigars and the bar was full of people all night. But the main attraction was Texas Hold 'em at the card tables.
