A call to coconut painters
Coconut painters are needed to paint the coconuts that will be used during the Coconut Scavenger Hunt during our 4th of July activities. Be a part of what puts the nut in Coconut Grove!
Come to the Windisch-Hunt Gallery (2911 Grand Avenue) this Friday, June 12 at 7 pm, bring coconuts if you have them (dried out ones)! There will be pizza and drinks and it will be a good time. Just feel free to show up, bring a friend, and bring your creativity. We need lots of coconuts for the hunt.
We are working on details now, but anyone will be able enter the contest for free on July 4th at a given time, they will have to find a certain amount of coconuts in an allotted time period and all people that arrive with the coconuts to the finish point will win prizes. We may even have a "golden coconut" floating around, where the person who finds that will win the grand prize.
