When do they open? I passed by today for lunch and it was closed.
when are they giving away free food. thats all us commenters really want ;-)
Another pizza place?? Do you know if they have a beer or liquor license?
More pizza? Was Jacob's ever really open in the first place? LOL!
Its a shame because that location really lends itself nicely to a restaurant.
When did Jacobs close ??
The actual owner all along (through two operators at now defunct Jacob's) has been the fellow with both the New York Pizza on McFarlane Road AND the pizza-by-the-slice in the former Grab 'N Go on Main Highway. Unfortunately, even with a third New York Pizza on Commodore, that still leaves Grand Avenue, Mary and Virginia Streets without a New York Pizza, but hey, times are tough.
Yes, he's a nice guy named Tomas.
I was just poking some fun and fully agree that Tomas is a nice guy.
Wow - do you know how many pizzas they have to sell to pay rent on Commodore? Anokha should move back there.
BKNY will see when he returns if it's Brooklyn/New York Style or not! If I go after fat Tues. it won't matter anyway.
I wish him luck regardless!
Well I refuse to eat at any other pizza place in the Grove especially the old Grab & Go because I think they are gross, so I hope this will be better....
I just hope that this one is cleaner than his previous 2 restaurants. Have you ever really "looked" at New York pizza or the pizza by the slice place? Gross!
Too many pizza joints and too many banners will not do much to enhance the Grove or help to identify us as a distinctive quality tourist destination.
