Should this really be surprising anymore? Sad... Sad... Sad...
The owners of the property have a right to do what they want with it. It is not our business. This is still America, regardless of the socialism that is coming. Property rights. Ever heard of it? You people should worry about cleaning up this city, which has so much potential but is poorly neglected by our politicians. No, I am not a member of the church.
Did you call her? Seems like she would be in a good position to make a statement. Although, if she did speak out and if she told the truth, and said that she too was lied to by the pastor and the architect and was led to believe that part of the chapel was being preserved...then I'm sure that she would be fired. They have everyone over there afraid for thier jobs.
Must be the new christian way.
Anon 9:20 p.m. "They have everyone over there afraid for their jobs."
You say this with such assuredness, such confidence -- based on what?
Based on the fact that several teachers, staff members, etc. said that they are afraid to talk about it because they really need their jobs.
