Another successful Saturday Night Art Stroll
The promenade at the Shoppes of Mayfair turned into a little arts village again last night for Coconut Grove's First Saturday Art Stroll.
There was art of course, also music, and free food and drinks. People enjoyed the festive atmosphere.
The Mutiny Hotel had artist Ed King's pop art show. They had some really nice pieces outside and inside in one of the banquet rooms. I was asked by the staff not to photograph the art, so I couldn't get some good pictures of a painted violin that I liked and some other items. They had videos showing the artist creating many of the pieces -- a nice touch.
It was a perfect balmy night as people dined on food served by Atchana's East West Kitchen surrounded by the art, alongside the pool.
Back at Mayfair and all throughout the Grove friends met friends and they enjoyed the artistic nature of the evening.

Yes it was a successful art stroll I finally had to ask the artists who gravitate here that it was eleven p.m. and time to go. For photos of what happened at the Windisch-Hunt Fine Art Gallery this is our blog.
